# Active Positions

#### Position Monitoring

* **Real-Time Updates**:
  * Current position size and leverage
  * Unrealized PnL (profit/loss)
  * Entry price and current mark price
  * Liquidation price with distance indicator
  * Accumulated funding and borrow fees
* **Position Details**:
  * Collateral amount and type
  * Index token and pool information
  * Opening timestamp
  * Position ID for tracking

#### Position Management

* **Edit Collateral**:
  * Deposit: Improve liquidation price, reduce risk
  * Withdraw: Extract excess collateral (if safe)
  * Real-time liquidation price recalculation
* **Partial Close**: Close percentage of position
* **Full Close**: Close entire position, realize all PnL
* **Size Adjustment**: Increase via "..." menu options

#### Profit/Loss Calculation

* **Formula**: PnL = (position size) × (price change %)
* **Long Position**:
  * Profit when price increases
  * Loss when price decreases
  * Paid in index token
* **Short Position**:
  * Profit when price decreases
  * Loss when price increases
  * Paid in stablecoin
* **Collateral Value**: Separate from position PnL (if different token)

#### Attached Orders

* **TP/SL Display**: Shows attached take profit and stop loss orders
* **Quick Access**: Edit or cancel TP/SL directly from position row
* **Visual Indicators**: Color-coded profit targets and stop levels
